My parents also came up from VA for the party and spent the weekend here. If you've ever watched "Diner's, Drive-in's, and Dive's" on the Food Network Channel you may have seen a little hotdog stand in WV (near Huntington) called Hillbilly Hotdog... just wait until you see the pictures (I'll upload them soon). The "dining area" is inside 2 OLD school buses, it was quite an experience and I've never seen so many different ways to serve a hot dog :) I wasn't so daring!
One of the things I'll always remember about Memorial Day weekend is that 6 years ago I totaled my car on the WV turnpike while on my way to visit Jay before we were married. It was one of those times I can truly say God's hand was covering me and I'm so thankful for his protection. He has blessed me in so many ways.
I'll share pictures of our weekend soon :)

I remember the 2003 Memorial Day. It was very traumatic for all. Jay called and wanted us to ride to Beckley with him. After a terrible scare and a long recuperation all is well. We give thanks for that.
The 2009 Memorial weekend was nothing but smiles! Thanks mostly from Jay, Desiree, and James being here. It was a great time, and Jim was very touched by everyone making the trip to surprise him. Thanks a bushel to Wanda and Warren too. So glad they were here!! And thanks to Dan and Karen in their part of sneaking and transporting our precious cargo. :)
I'm waiting for the pictures before I comment!
so glad your father-in-law was surprised!
and memorial day 6 years ago does sound like a very memorable one for you. wow!
So thankful for God's protection over you, too!!!
Miss you guys and glad you had a great Memorial Day!
I hear you. I had to take Hailey in the bathroom with me on the plane. It was so small that she had to sit on my lap!
Hailey understands when I say no, but she doesn't listen. Or, she will look at me and defiantly do it again.
I assume this is all kids!
