English Blunders

So here are a few examples of the stellar writing work that I often come across in grading papers- Enjoy!

"I will acknowledge that a child has church, youth, friends and the such like that they interact with."

"The American flag hang should show that America still to hang thought tough time and provide what their citizens need to survivor."

"When homeless included children sitting on their mother legs watch what is going on around them. People watching their belonging and keep them close to them. Most homeless people have little or no belonging of their own. Homeless people sitting on the sidewalk as dead people lying on the street. Homeless people watch as dead people lies right in front as the couple with what had happen to make them homeless."

"Is the prove of grade inflation in schools and college today compare to the old days."

"Some people do not think that the student who grade is higher does mean inlfation. Some students do turn in better papers than before because they have the use of computers that help with spelling and grammar."

"Some people see students putting little effect to receive a higher grade then they think that student deserves. Other people have different items to way student grades are higher today then they were in the 60’s and 70’s."

"Nowadays, in many cases households have both parents with have full time jobs and when their kids came home from school, the television was always there as people grew up even when their parents weren’t."

Sometimes this makes my job exciting and/or laughable, other times it's just plain frustrating :)

I've had trouble with my computer and trying to leave you a comment. We'll see if it works this time...

I can understand how frustratin it would be as a teacer to see this roll across your desk time after time but on thwe other hand it is great entertainment for your blog or a dinner party!
We had a friend that used to each and his papers looked worse than this. He would bring them over and let Mdison and Carson (then 7 and 8) correct them - and they could do a lot of it!!!
Also - I really had no idea you were teaching. I want to know what you are doing. Maybe a blog post about that???
