Experiencing Another First

Remember those curls on this boy?

They were sometimes messy, sometimes a little nappy, tangled, and at times (particularly after nap time) seemed to resemble a birds nest. Someone called him a girl last week and I even heard the word mullet mentioned, so we thought it was time.

He had his first haircut on Saturday. We went to a place called Carousel Cuts. They had a playroom and little carousel horses and bunnies to sit on complete with videos to help distract little ones. It was cute (a bit expensive for a child's haircut, but a good 1st experience).

My mom and niece Gabby were visiting and after a day of walking around and taking a short nap in the stroller we had his hair cut, he was such a good boy all day that he got this prize (from his Nanny)! He was SO excited to open them and he played and played and played.

If you are worried about the curls... they are still there. When his hair gets wet or in the humidity they show up! He looks even more like a little man now.
