Toddler Speech

Have any of you other mothers encountered sudden stuttering from your 2 to 3 year old boys? Suddenly James has started stuttering on certain words, mostly at the end of words or combined words like outside- he says out-t-t-t side and Sept-t-t-ember and take-k-k-k. I read that it's common, that we shouldn't try to correct him, or ask him to repeat it correctly, or bring any attention to it. It can be brought on by lots of excitement (we just went to the beach and he was enamored with my nephews, ages 6 and 7) and it should last 1-3 months. Already it seems better but of course I worry :)

Today also marked a few important day in our lives... James has begun asking me "why" after everything I say. Oh the joy...
