It's been a while

Hey there... remember me? It's been while, but I'm finally getting back around to blogging and hopefully I'll do it more often... if not I'll just delete it :)

Here's the townhouse we are renting in State College, PA.

And here's James waiting patiently to go outside and play in the snow.

Things have started to quiet down a little for us (except that the Christmas is around the corner and we'll be traveling). We've gotten moved in and settled. James has adjusted beautifully, even moved into a twin size bed and loves the space in his room to play and pull out his toys. The space in the house is nice, but takes longer to clean than the 6 or 7 hundred square feet we were used to :)

We haven't found a church yet and decided to wait until after the holidays to start trying again... it seems we may not find what we had in NYC. We're thinking of looking for a part-time preschool for James, and in the meantime we're finding some indoor play activities for him... the benefit here is that they don't cost nearly as much as they did in the city.

I'm beginning to feel better... I am 16 weeks along now and baby is healthy. Started showing already, which was disappointing but whatever... I'm joining a gym soon and it has childcare!!

All 3 of us (Jay, James and I) are getting over Strep throat but we are all on the upswing and ready for Christmas!
Here are a few other pictures from the last couple months :)

James was Mickey Mouse on Halloween. We missed trick-or-treating here but the Greek Houses with Penn State had crafts, games, and candy for the kids so the trolley took us door to door at the Greek-or-Treat!

Below, is James helping me pack up our Christmas shoeboxes. He did a great job, and didn't mind too much putting the toys in the box for someone else. He'll get it eventually :)

James has also gotten fully potty trained. If you remember we were having some problems going #2 in the potty... the rewards weren't helping much but finally we found something that worked. First, he likes his privacy and second he likes it if he thinks you are in the other bathroom going potty too. He also got to wear the Mickey Mouse costume after he went and that seemed to help too!

That's all for now. If I don't post again before Christmas... Merry Christmas to you and your family!
